  • We understand your concerns about travelling in the new normal. Hence, we have introduced the RWG StaySafe Promise to address these uncertainties. In line with this, we have implemented additional safety measures for a safety-assured stay at First World Hotel.

    Our rooms are thoroughly cleaned, sanitised, and inspected according to our rigorous housekeeping standards. We perform a deep cleaning of all guest rooms, with increased focus given to high-touch areas. Once we are satisfied that the cleanliness regime has complied with our strict hygiene protocols, a safety seal is placed on the door of your room so that you’ll know the room has not been accessed by anyone else before your check-in.

    We will suspend daily housekeeping services to minimise the risk of cross-contamination from one room to another. If your stay is more than one night, our housekeeping team will perform trash removal services daily.

    When you extend your stay, your room will automatically receive a complete cleaning and sanitising procedure upon the fourth day of your stay.

  • What can I do with my Digital Key?

    Your Digital Key lets you access your room floor via the elevator and unlock your room door directly from the Resorts World Genting mobile app on your phone.

    How do I receive my Digital Key?

    You will need to perform a mobile check-in via the Resorts World Genting mobile app between 6am to 11pm on your day of stay. When you’re ready to get to your room, show your successful check-in to the hotel front desk to activate your Digital Key. Your Digital Key will be available in your mobile app until you check-out.

    How do I unlock my room door with the Digital Key?

    Turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone when you are within the range of an equipped lock. Tap on the “Unlock” button on your mobile app and the door will unlock automatically.

    Does the Digital Key work on all devices?

    The Digital Key can be used on iPhone, Android and Huawei devices, as long as your device is equipped with the latest version of the Resorts World Genting mobile app, Bluetooth and Internet access.

    Can I use my Digital Key on more than one device?

    The Digital Key is assigned only to the device used to perform the mobile check-in. If you require a second Digital Key for your roommate, please provide your roommate’s details during check-in. Your roommate must also have the latest Resorts World Genting mobile app on his/ her device in order to receive the Digital Key.

    I’ve booked more than one room. How do I share the Digital Key with my travelling group?

    During the mobile check-in, you will be required to enter the details of guests for the respective rooms. Please ensure that guests of each room have the latest Resorts World Genting mobile app on their device, so that they can receive the Digital Key to their room.

    If I perform a mobile check-in, can I include a special request for my room selection (e.g. non-smoking room/ room near the lift/ room with a view)?

    Yes. You may state your request during the mobile check-in. While we will do our best to accommodate your request, please note that all requests are subject to availability and may incur a surcharge.

    Do I need to be a Genting Rewards member to receive the Digital Key?

    Yes. Only Genting Rewards members can perform a mobile check-in and receive the Digital Key. Non-members may access their rooms using the usual RFID key card issued by the hotel front desk during the check-in process.

    Can I share my Digital Key with someone else?

    Please do not share your Digital Key with other people.

    I’ve lost my smartphone/ check-in device. What should I do?

    Please notify the hotel front desk immediately, so that we can deactivate your Digital Key to prevent any unauthorised access to your room.

    I’m having troubles with my Digital Key.

    Please approach the hotel front desk for assistance.

    Can I request for a physical key card instead?

    Yes, of course. Please let the hotel front desk know if you prefer to receive a RFID key card for your room.
